by myself,
chewing on dried salmon.

Well expressed thoughts and feeling nicely brought forth with clarity of thought and mind.
we say that it is a haiku, but actually it is a hokku, the opening verse of an haikai, or a collaborative 'comic linked' poetry - therefore, even if it can stand alone, we need to remember that it is the beginning of a 'tale in verse' told by a number of poets (3,4 or more) . As Haruo Shirane points out, ''The basic idea of linked verse was to create a new and unexpected world out of the world of the previous verse.'' ''it was imaginary literature, .. the poets who participated in linked verse moved from one world to the next, across time, and across space.''
