I rather die a hero in battle than die a coward in my nice warm bed.
I rather shoot a stranger down than see my friend lying nearby dead.
I rather go through hell and back than have my country suffer another attack.
I rather be a soldier deployed far away than be nobody important when I get back.
I rather die for my country than have my country try to heal all my wounds and cares.
I rather be on active duty than out recruiting others at college fairs.
