A Spring In My Step

I tell you, I still got a spring in my step.
I'm not ready to be buried yet.
The winter may have been long and hard.
But now I'm seeing some green in my yard.

The flowers are out showing off their buds,
The caterpillars aren't the only ones in new duds.
The farmers have finally broken ground.
The bees aren't the only ones buzzing around.

I tell you, I still got a spring in my step.
I'm not ready to be buried yet.
The winter may have been long and hard.
But now I'm seeing some green in my yard.

The crops are finally green and growing.
The roosters aren't the only ones crowing.
There's no way I'm going to forget...
To exercise that SPRING in my step.
