A Stone And A Hard Place
Poem By madeline morris
This dilemma is out of control,
It is tearing up my flimsy soul,
I am leaving now for a stroll,
To think about filling this gaping hole.
Stuck between a stone and a hard place,
Not meaning to cause disgrace,
I'm losing it, i'm losing face,
Got to get back in and join the race.
The stone is grey and cold,
The place is vast and hard,
I'll have to be bold,
I'm trying and thinking can't put it on hold.
I'm going to climb over the rock,
It's ten past get over it o'clock,
Those who had doubted me,
You are in for a shock.
