A Trail That Thrills

Poem By Natarajan Ramaseshan

Willow creek parkway at Lexington hills
Known as 'Nature's pathway', a trail that thrills.
Thistles and gold fields, cattails and sedges
Grow along the wet lands and on edges
Kitten sized rabbits run stealthy races
Squirrels hide on seeing human faces
Sounds of all birds form a natural choir
The sweetest melody wafts in chill air
Lovely, so lovely, but also lonely
Some say, but, oh, the trail is heavenly!

(Willow creek parkway in Folsom, California is a lovely trail for morning walks.After going for a morning walk in that trail I wrote this poem)

Hello, hello Halloween
Fun and frolic, you have been.
Eerie stories doing rounds
Shades of candles forming hounds.

Freedom Courageous

He who yearns for freedom courageous
Will he ever crave for anything outrageous?
He who longs for ambrosia divine
Will he ever think of toddy or wine?

Rise At Dawn

Little children, rise at dawn-
Behold all the joys of morn!
An early bird chirps or sings;
Fragrance rides on airy wings;

San Diego

Go to San Diego, you go
Learn history of times long ago.
Where cultures Spanish-Mexican
Blend with trend that's American.
