A Tuesday In June

Poem By Dee Daffodil

Many years before
They had made a pact
On a Tuesday in June
That should they
Both be alone
On this particular Tuesday in June
They would meet
At the same Antique store

As she walked through the doorway
She was pleasantly surprised
To find
An antique...
Very much to her liking

It made me think for a while. Then I got it, good poem
Hi Dee. I used to collect antiques but I dont think they were the same kind. a good read thanks. Regards Dave T.
one wonders if the antique was an object or your friend ..!
Wrap it up. .I'll take it! Loved the story of it and the wonderful writing of it...grow old along with me the best is yet to be...lovely poem with just the right amount...a pinch of cutness and just enough matureness to add flavour to the words. i love it! love Dee Dee(Wright...that's right!)
most reveling to the spirit of love protracting, let my raved up feelings retreat into its own fold left behind carring this piece for a semblance smooching, well penned, i do adore admire
