A Turn Of Phrase

The wind is indecisive.
The ground is my big blanket
of crunchy abundance.
My body is an ocean,
it goes on and on,
I cannot, I will not
feign emotion.
There is a lightness,
I float, I speak
gentle little words.
I speak of hope
in my best big girl voice.
I want to read you,
skim through syllables,
looking for metaphor,
or such language device.
There is an anxious breeze,
but there is sunshine too.
I speak of hope.
