A Very Good Person But She Never Stands Out

A very good person but she never stands out in the crowd
And she is not haughty and she is not proud
One kind and compassionate in her own way
Unkind things of others she never does say
A middle aged widow with a twenty year old unmarried son
By her acts of kindness from all who know her respect she has won
It is a sad fact of life and not anything new
When i say that great people like her far too few
For the person she is her i can only admire
And of singing her praises i for one never tire
I often see her in the park or on the street
A beautiful person a pleasure to meet
With the warmth of sunshine in her cheerful hello
One can say of her she has the inner glow.
