A White Crane

Poem By Comfort Zone

A blood-soaked white crane,
Soars up -
To the gold dust sprinkled firmament,
Sweeping across the blue lagoon -
Fringed with tall green grasses
Camouflaging a limed trap,
Squeaking,
For a last look at its nest.
