A Woman Bursts

A flag flutters in a stiff breeze
an airplane flees overhead
a tiny dot discards a smoky white trail
cutting the blue sky in half
a horse run across a field
full of wild flowers

A woman burst out of the forest
runs across the field
glances at the flag
looks up at the plane
and calls to the horse

It turns out movement matters
but who moves
and who sees
is important

As we see a person
move
alpha and beta energies swirl
the brain's motor cortex
reflecting human activity
in the mirror neurons

Engaging the basal ganglia
in a way a waving flag does not

What are the people
around you doing right now
observe and swirl
