A Wound In Our Head

There’s a wound in our head,
Inflicted by colonization, deepened by civil war,
Abandoned to decay,

There’s a wound in our head,
Accumulating maggot, making the body sick, yet
We only complain but do nothing.

This wound has massive infection,
The body is weakened and dying and the doctor
Is graduated without skills,

There’s a rotten hole in our head and people
Look at us and S-I-G-H.
