A Young Man Cursed And Flung A Stone

at pigeons on the roof
An old man smiled and stayed his hand
with words of soft reproof
"But look at the mess they've made of my hat,
those cursed worthles things."
The Old Man chuckled and said as for that
"Suppose a cow had wings".
