Abilities

Poem By Manaal Shams

Abled or disabled,
Is not really a fable.
When we win races, running hard
The disabled can only move a card
Abled are very lucky,
For they can move, not being sulky
Disabled may cry,
But they can even fly
Fly to success,
Fly to their focus

Abled or disabled,
Is not really a matter.
When abled write fables,
Use hands without matters
Disabled may not write,
But they think of their mights,
And can even build a flight.
They may not be able to take
People from place to place
They can carry words of wisdom
From birthplace to graves
Abled may fly kites
Taking little chocolate bites
Disabled can also fly kites
But with bites of experience in life!

The Wave Monster

The sea Monster was hungry that day
Wanted to eat up anything on its way,
Stretching out his tongue
Gobbling everything, wherever he went

My Little Brother

He was born yesterday
I was happy as a bluejay!
Waiting impatiently to make him play
To make him jump on the bed

My Day

I fell down and hurt my knees
I go out and catch a cold
I get stung by the buzzy bees
I go crazy with fever so I scold

How A Mom Is

A mom to love,
A mom to care,
A mom to roam with you everywhere!

My Kite

I saw it soar up high
I saw it fly to the sky
The wind was carrying it
That weird looking thing
