I liked how you crafted this poem, Indira. Every line gives the reader a trickle of.thought who has this great ability worth of this beautiful tribute. So brilliantly and cleverly written. It expresses in beautiful detail the wonderful attributes of a great woman who despite of advancing age still makes a difference. Beautifully crafted and well executed write.
yeah; thought provoking; woman's power.... great expression ma'm
She the shepherdess of the infernals Where she's treading on still..............a brilliant piece of work dear madam! My great pleasure reading it time and again!
I am utterly fascinated with this wonderful piece of poetry that is natural, lively and touching! My great pleasure reading it time and again! Stay always blessed dear madam!
Hats off to that marvelous lady and the poetess. Great societies are made due to existence of such women. She commands reverence like that of mother goddess.
I repeat the version of the esteemed poet below who has rightly pointed out the charismatic stance of the Iron lady for whom age has just been a number! I salute the century old towering lady and the brush that has sketched the portrait! I would like to quote some fascinating lines here: She the most unconcerned of herself/Devoid of aid any her hearing-loss/Yet can talk on M.S.Subbalakshmi/Despite a deaf, illiterate. Superbly penned dear madam, absolutely wonderful! Many congratulations! !
Abilities of a woman who has tightly fixed her lips, who listens to many disturbing words but ignores, who watches many pain giving things but like an unconcerned passerby. Still performing her duties, though at this age she is not under any obligation to perform it at the age of 95, still a constitutional head of her home, widely loved and respected. What a great queen is she! How great is the poetess who wrote a lovely poem on her, whether she is Quenn Elizabeth II or just an ideal house wife, a mother and a grand mother. I salute to that great woman, whoever she may be.
To the inkling sound of silence. Nice work.
Her stride with abilities, inspite of being deaf and illiterate Where have 'others' went wrong...? ? ! ! ! Dear poet, you pose a question to all of us. We need to know what to listen What to take cognizance of Else the pace will limp and shamble. Ability... seen here.... probes me more So much to perceive... I just love this write for its ability to take readers beyond...
Yes I have to agree...she just goes on - a very poignant piece but so representative of our society 10
...and she goes on...none or nothing can stop her!
treading on still...how well you start your poems mam...woman until recently never had any legal inheritance from their parents...woman inherit different wealth and their ability is something man can never ever match...great poem...10 please read and rate my poem 'all about money' 'am an arrogant poet' 'a survival plan'
veiled ability unveiled...it could be perhaps about a character you admire, Indira...you are very eloquent on her qualities...thanks...
Firstly i would like to offer my profound regards and gratitude for sparing time, reading and commenting on my work. 'Ability', comes across an extremely powerful work. It makes me wonder, as to whom this poem has been written about.
good poem..very provoking.. well done
thought provoking........thnks
I see true Indian faminism in this poem as compared to what Maya Angeola wrote in her Phenomenal woman. The real pride of being a woman lies in in upholding the dignity of womanhood. I tried to say the same in my poems LIVING IDOL and HOLY TRINE. Let us all bow to the Mighty Audi Parashakthi, our Holy mother.
That's the ability n confidence we mortals wud like to seek
''She the most unconcerned of herself Devoid of aid any her hearing-loss'' a wonderful woman's cognitive portrait, used as a data point to help determiner her best-fit personality type. The poem is an excellent message.....10+++
