Abstract

Poem By ENOCH JOHN

An abstract painting is so much an imitation of life,
Insofar as it does not readily define something,
Or what the artist is really trying to depict,
But on closer examination the trained eye
Can detect the veiled images, even the message that was intended.

So in this life we must seek to look beyond the mere lines,
And make a valiant attempt to understand the message of life.

Comments about Abstract

This life we must seek to look beyond the mere lines, because an abstract painting is so much an imitation of life. Very wisely and brilliantly penned poem is shared here.10
Such a brilliant write, Enoch... a huge 10๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
On second glance we see more than distortion, a really good poem my friend

Cover me with your beauty sublime;
Stain upon my heart the dying echo of love.
Plant in my bosom the eternal seed of hope
And I'll reap a harvest of fulfilment.

Any new ideas or thoughts lately?
You don't want to tell.Ok, so
You have closed up your mind like a window,

Walking in the shadows of love
Seems always clothed with uncertainty;
Clouded passages and walls that hide
True feelings of the heart
