Abyss Of Forever

Was this ever real?
I get the feeling more than ever it was all an illusion
The scars are real, the pain is real, but the memories
Are lost forever
In this abyss of the taboo
And I find myself loosing control
Loosing myself
Lost my mind
Lost my heart
Depleating my soul
And falling, falling
Deeper into the ulimate, astral darkness
Into my own self and own death
And I fall forever
Your rough hands gently guiding me lower
Iridescent wings fluttering by me
So gently, so softly
The razor edged wings of your angelic back
Feathers cut through me
But with you soft voice to lure me into a new hole all its own
I notice not my own death or destruction
Just your face
Yet you've hurt me so many times
Yet I claw achingly up these walls back to you
With the feathers probing through my sides
Black blood pouring from these wounds
A crown of thorns circled around my arms
And a smile on my lips
And I call to you
From this abyss
Where I lost all
But gained sight
Of you
And that's all I ever really wanted
Just you
Who you were. What you were.
Not who you pretend to be
Not who you fool yourself into being
Just the true you
That only I have seen.
