Acceptance

Poem By Thomas Conner

I didn’t find you
The night you laid
In your pool of blood
Mom did and you didn’t use a blade

I saw everyone’s pain
I’ve even gone through it
But your not hear anymore
I assume you didn’t feel fit

In this world all you felt was pain
To relieve it death was your way
You didn’t seem to care about the pain
You would give us that day

One night on the way home
I tried getting into a car
Accident, but I stopped because I didn’t
Want to become you. You from me distance is far.

I’ve accepted that you’re gone
I’ve accepted that you’re not coming back
Anger is now what I feel
The pain and anger is all I feel…that’s the fact
