Poem By Lauren Joy

The harder she tried
The harder she fell
Each time getting weaker
But it was an addiction
She couldn't stop
The force drover her to the edge
She would reach a goal
But that goal became lost
And yet another one was set
Downhill she rolled
No bumps to slow her
She lost everything
Nothing but the clothes on her back
No name
No identity
No sanity

What Do You Say

What do you say
When they take it all away
And you're left with a broken heart?
Do you try to stand?

My Heart

My heart aches
My heart breaks
My heart is scattered around
My heart hurts

Too Late

I can't forgive myself
I can't let go
Of what I did
Of what I know

Empty Promises

Come to me
My restless child
I will give you perfect peace
Give to me
