Adoration

This hapiness
bloomed from
that day we first met
in front that old church
we walked around
the old gardens
mazily
amazed at each
other’s contenance.
At the moment
I saw your face
I knew what a gift
love could give
and
I wrote
you poetry
each you
devoured like cake
Iwrote you
yards of letters
each one you responded
and we thirved on
that fabric of words
and the food of verse.
and in your in different abesence
I starve.
If there is one thing that
I could tell you right now
it would be
how much I adore you
in your
imperfection
you are my perfection
the one perfection that
beautifies my heart.
