Afraid

Poem By Carly Almonde

_Fiction_

I was afraid,
I wasn't at all brave.
I wept with bitter tears,
At the time, full of fears.
What, you ask, is wrong?
I would tell you, but the story is far too long.
All i can do is just sit here.
And watch as every day goes by.
All i can do,
Is sit and cry.

Crazy Writers

i wish this was a dream,
that i could wake up and it would be over,
but instead the pinching of my flesh proves this is true,
that i'm alive, i am experiencing this.

Dedicated To G.B.

waiting for another day to pass,
trying to think of words to say,
but all i can think of is how much it will hurt,
when i tell you i can't be your friend.
