Africa, origin of mankind
Where our ancestors did birth
Rich in natural beauty, attracting people from
all over the globe to entwine
Africa, you are the motherland
Second largest continent on Earth
The Nile, longest river in the world,
Drink the water from the Nile; you will be
sure to come back
Climb, grip and climb
Kilimanjaro, tallest mountain
Later drink from the fountain
Lake Victoria is the largest in Africa and the
world’s second largest freshwater lake
Swim, flex and swim
Away from the gator and snake

I have not been to Africa, but your poem 'took' me there. What else is there to say except a big 10?
A panoramic tribute to the grand continent that is the ancestral home of us all - our true motherland.
