Flat is everywhere, flattened
Trees cut, land ploughed
Nothing left but green
Of sown seeds.
The sky light blue
Some clouds playful
Two birds are in fighting.
The large one is crow escaping.
The small is redwing, aggressive.
Crook’s game, stealing
Redwing’s egg was hatching
Tiny bird put her soul in the wing
Her beak, sword and dagger, a razor
A righteous little bird angry, dangerous.
She fought like Tamerlane, Jetfighter.
