All Mountaintop Cousins

Poem By Debora Short

We have
Never met
In person,
Have we?
Then why is it
That my heart
Regards
Some
Of you
As virtual
And delightfully
Cherished and Gifted
Daughters and sons
Or as caring Great Aunts
Or cute but quirky old Uncles
Or mischievous
Little Brothers
Who I should rat out to dad but don’t…
