All The Fun Of The Fare

People, people, here and there
Laughter and noise everywhere
Lights blazing, music blaring
What a holiday! The fare has come to town
All the fun of the fare
Try your luck today
Don't delay, roll your money down
Win a prize, shoot the clowns
Join in the mad, mad merry go round.
Cross my palm with silver
The gypsy said to me
You've a lucky face, come in m'dear
Put your hands on this crystal ball.
And let me look and see, Just a peep into the future
Yes, I see a tall handsome stranger
Do you know a G.B.? I think he has gone overseas
I am sure it must be he, I wipe a tear
Cross my palm with silver
I'm to be blessed with children three
I'm a lucky lady, so the gypsy says
Do watch the step, and God bless m'dear.
