Poem Hunter
HH ( / )

If by light divine, radiance doth continue shining
Moment by fragmentary moment
A paradise of slivered shivers chilling from splendor
In diaphanous diadems aplenty

Bowed harmonics ripple paradoxically blue
Nonetheless, the joy of sorrow
Cut to the quick by a lightning dagger sharpened in
Tune to the slicing air

Even the level plateaus of depression, faulted, uprooted
By the vestiges of apathy rotting
A smile cracks the walls surrounding, guardians which
Have taken a necessary leave

Perhaps into forever; a solemn departure, having watched
That joyous leap into the deep
That burgundy pool unrecognized until landing closely
A welcome washing splash

A monster reborn into holy light, newness of love
Plucked breezes encircle
What remains, as the lock unlocked remains but the chains
Still hang in case of emergency

In earthly paradise, the joy without end shall reign
Yet trials come what may
In robbery only for a passing moment steal what will
Always return to me someday

I see where you are coming from, but would it not be better to simplify your wording? ? Just go easy on the sdjectives if you want people to be able to read what you write. I found it a little over powering. HOWEVER having said that. Well done, Poetry is self expression and you have done just that. I am going to read the rest of your work now. (((Hugs))) Jan
