Americame

Poem By kwane Lamb

An outside smile…
The facade of all time…
That six pack…
That coca-coca rack…
Tic-tock…
Goes the clock…
Do you really see me…
Or just the façade that I wear…
A caterpillar is really butterfly…
No facade…it's not hard…
No make-up, no pads…
What you see is… what you get…
Until the change of life…(menopause) …
Yet …we humans puts on airs…
As if we care…
We are into…(impression) season…
For no reason…
But to be like or not be like … who we are…
By far…
Bingo…tot, tot…
As strong as we are…
We, we, we are ….weak…
The prey…and the hunter…
A democracy…with a forked road…
Your cocoon is decorated from within…
So you may emerge…
As you like…
As Hoover or as Mike…
Lucy or Spike…
Day or Night…
No wrong…no right…
Looking good to the eye sight…
Now what does that say concerning…
Our relationships…
Oops…can't bite the hand that feeds me…
Bingo…tot, tot…
