American

There is something to the snap of the fluttering flag
When the wind lifts her glorious colors to the light
Once more the storm has passed, gone forevermore
This new morning marks the passing of the night

Brave sailors all, assemble upon this weathered deck
Lower lifeboats for the meek and faithless few
We will not suffer their lies, their treachery and hate
Look deep within the eyes of your brave and loyal crew

Well aware of our own mettle in the battle for what's right
Strike the flag of deception, raise the colors once again
Fill the lifeboats with the useless refuge of liberty's traitors
Come with me as we proudly sail, raise the flag and let's begin
