American Rainbow

Across the land in one great arc
ocean to ocean, peace to mark.
There's a rainbow song to hark
with blended colors light to dark.

Black and white, red and brown,
yellow too, all join the sound
where love and harmony abound
wiser thoughts are spread around.

We battle tryanny you see,
stand together you and me,
fight the fight to keep us free.
Pilgrims in this cause are we.

Meld in this great melting pot.
Connect the voices dot to dot.
Unite the purpose in each thought.
Pay the price of freedom bought.

For we've got all the world to show
for freedom's sake we'll strike the blow
and everyone will surely know
the power of our peace rainbow.
