An Angel Cries

Poem By Dave Alan Walker

Looking down on a world
of violence and spite
an angel cries

Cries for the children
in a nation of fears
Cries for the people
who should have been their savior

How can civilization
live like this
This was gods creation
not gods damnation

An angel cries

A realistic poem. Great.
Like the poet if there is an Angel within a man, the angel will cry on the violence throughout the world. Loved the poem and loved its message, it has an universal appeal.
Your poem is simple yet deep and full of truths and emotions! Great job!
Well conceived and elegantly brought forth. Thanks for sharing Dave.
