An Answer To A Question

How can we stand by and do nothing at all?
How can we simply look away?
How can we act as if nothing is wrong,
when children are starving to death everyday?
How can we say that it's not our problem
as we set down to supper each night?
Just because it's now the family next door
doesn't mean everything is alright.
The problem belongs to each of us
and we all need to do our part,
so reach out and help any way that you can
and give generously from your heart.
