Ana Angel

Poem By Samantha White

O Ana, my angel,
lead me to perfection.
Please help me to no longer,
Fear my reflection.

Though you scare me so much,
I love you just the same.
From you I'm quickly learning,
that beauty isn't a game.

You now control my thoughts;
You're taking over my head.
Sometimes pushing me so hard,
I wish I were dead.

I want to be light as a feather;
I want to float in the air.
I'll do anything you ask,
about the pain I just don't care.

Ana is so bittersweet. I like that you have made her into a person to write this poem, along with your other: 'Ana'. Many people think of her as a disease, but those who have seen her up close and personal know that she is so much more. Keep writing, you do so well. -JL
