...And In The Spring

Poem By Theodora (Theo) Onken

She's not really of the corporeal world
Not earthy - nor made of stone
She's more ethereal in her presence
Much as a flower - fully grown.

Ever embracing those in need of comfort
A companion of compassion's loving care
Always searching for those in need
Those who count their blessings will surely find her there.

She walks in perpetual love
In a most perfect place
With more joy than she can contain
Stepping herself into warmth of Spring and cover from the rain.

She walks in hope - with faith as her guide
She's nature's blessing in garden's grown
Her fragrance is as sweet as the wild Jasmine
Always with a deep abiding love of the unknown.

She's butterfly light - in the air
Wings of velvet- black and gold
Endlessly she flies the Spring Tide skies
And disappears with a flutter - we've been told.

Her kisses can be felt
While standing still in this beautiful place
Her tender loving caresses will graze your skin
While your days will be filled with grace.

And in the silence and the solitude
You will always find her spirit there
With peace and love - a gift from her God above
And a garland of blessed flowers in her hair.

(((This Thing Of Ours)))

In the twilight of this quiescent moment-
I peruse this thing of ours-
Querying this palpable abtruse connection-
Am i deluded or wrongly perceived by the stars?

(((After The Rain)))

I missed you the other day
When the dew left its diamond glitter upon the grass
And the squirrels and frogs were frolicking merry
When the silence of daybreak calmed

It was in the Dawn of new beginnings
In a field so full of you
Armoured bouquets of Love
Covered by Heavens baby blue;

(((Early Eve Of Remember))) !

It t'was in the early eve of Remember- -
Before twilight had come around...
Where i found you with a basket of love so true...
And in the air t'was a melody of new loves sweet sound! ;

An ancient river carries your name-
In silver caverns so deep-
A Princess sits crying her heart out-
In the depths of sorrow, she continues to weep.

(((An Aubade)))

</></Oh such bitter sweet regret-
Comes the breaking of dawn...
'Tis much too soon, my darling
For you shall soon be gone;
