Angel

An angel walked in this morning
Carrying her gifts in her arms.
So lovely was she as she greeted me,
I was so taken by her charm.

There were gifts tied with ribbons and bows
And two wreaths beaded with pearls.
One had a snowbird sitting in the snow,
The other one dancing girls.

I gazed favorably upon these gifts
Arriving so unexpectedly.
I accepted them and gave her a kiss
And she blew a kiss back to me.
