Anorexia 1

it's not the others that i fear
what is or isn't
really there
or ever was, or could have been
or if you ever never bled

my own reflection
rebels against me
it says to change it
claw at what i see

willing to slice off another inch
admissions to the body
it doesn't matter how much you bleed
if in the end
you'll be ideal

no food, only cigarettes
and the water
we're thin to slip through the cracks
unnoticed cattle for the slaughter

i'm going to tear my soul out
then fucking paint my face
sweat out it all until i’m dust and bones
then dye my hair, i'm such a waste

am i worth all this?
should i take this sh.t?
i know i'm beautiful
but is it evident?

no food, only cigarettes
and the water
we're thin to slip through the cracks
unnoticed cattle for the slaughter
