Another Day

As the night comes, and the wind dies,
All of the color leaves the skies.
A time of rest is on our mind.
What, in the next day, will we find?

As rest overtakes our body
And we thank God for His Glory,
Dreams appear in our thoughtless mind,
Each one of a different kind.

Rest gives us back our energy,
And helps us do what is to be.
As the sun returns to the skies,
We awake and start to arise.

First we shower and brush our teeth.
Our first race with the clock we beat.
Breakfast to help gain energy,
Wondering what this day may be.

Do our work as good as we can.
We try to complete this day's plan.
We finish our work; time to play,
Thus completing another day.
