Apartheid

Poem By Mohammad Younus Koul

COVID Virus has created apartheid,
Of the victim and his whole family,
People treat them like the manged dogs,
And like the cruel Brahmins of India,
Keeping the Untouchables at ten arm's length,
Instead of coming to their help and rescue,
Instead of sharing their grief and agony,
Is it not unfair, unsympathetic and irreligious social distancing?
