Your reasoning has one purpose.
by Lawrence S. Pertillar
To self serve just your thoughts.
And this to do will only bring,
A deserving of a returning,
Of what you have brought to others.
With no attempt to feel,
'Something' to admit...
To even have 'that'.
Understanding to comprehend,
The meaning of it.
Would be an upgrade,
From an emptiness so shallow.
Detected by every move you make.
Things you collect to value,
Seem to have more worth than you do.
If you were today appraised,
As a human being.
Is what you fear most,
To already suspect that yourself.
