As Fall Breaks Through

As fall breaks loose
My senses do too
Touch of the leaves
The crinkle beneath my feet
The taste of new season
Of the cinnamon spice
The sound of the wind
Rustles me to sleep
The sight of the beautiful
Feels new
The scent of pumpkins and leaves mixed together
Overwealmes me!

Lovely imagery in this wonderfully creative piece. My favorite season of the year, and you certainly brought it to life here. Lovely! Linda :)
A nice image of the natur. Nicely done! I wish always the best in poetry. Regards Constantinos
Delightful poem, Elizabeth. I too love the sights, smells and feel of fall! Your poem awakes all the senses of this wonderful season. Good job - a '10! ' Warm Wishes, Marilyn
