As Halloween Draws Near

The clock strikes midnight on the witching hour
Ghouls and ghosts and zombies gather
Crawling out from their deep dark tombs
Witches fly in the gloomy weather
Stirring spells with their wands and brooms
A motley group of scary creatures
They howl and haunt and cackles doom
They hobble, saunter in the silent light
Gnarly hands, a tattered sight
They bend stiffly in ugly poses
Straggly hairs and dirty black hoses
Hollowed eyes with warty noses
Toothless grins and sharp claws closes
Halloween horrors in steady doses.......
