As I Wait

Poem By Pearl S. Wilson

As I wait I sit down
I wait I look up
And I get filled up
I wait and I wait
For the hate to go away
I wait till the sun comes down
And the hate goes away
And when the sun comes down
The frown goes round
And the smile goes crown
Because you have come.

The Passion

The passion that burns inside
Me when I look at you
As you pass by me
Sometimes I find myself

They Are Still His Babies

With their little faces
What is wrong with their faces?
Can you see their faces?
And ask what went wrong?
