As Life Changes

Poem By Lauren B Called

I miss living

out of the path of everyday

where privacy was little work,

it just came naturally

Walk to the garden in my robe

Coffee on a porch that no one sees

Curtains left wide open

the road too far away to worry

Sunbathe in almost anything

A little place of free

and safe enough for our dog

to roam without a leash

Pretty Pictures

All the pretty pictures
in my head
of times gone by
loved ones now dead

Something Changed

something has changed
not sure what it is
no longer is it okay
to stay hidden

Just Know

look into you
and I wish I was there
just know I never
doubted your care

Sweet Sensation

Sitting with a group
in a room familiar
impressions of you overwhelm
I remember when you were near

Tale Of The Bloodshot Eyes

Wolves cry at the door
waking the demon within
bloodshot eyes and appetite wet
for the night to begin

Stays

Stays awake so he won't lose control
running from his dreams
what is it,
I want to know
