Let me first wash my eyes away from the stains of religion
Before I talk about Asifa
A young bud
Unjustly laid to rest under the nose of religion

Under her watch
Inhumanity sold this little bud
To the hands of painful death
A death that knows not man

"Dad please, come save me."
I sense were the words of her tears
But her Dad knows not
Where the blood of his flesh beckons

Even the god of the temple
Couldn't save the echoes of her voice
Despite it was before her supervision
Yet it's religion

Earth! Surge forth
Your morbid temper for justice
On those whose snakes
Poisoned this little Asifa
