At Last We Stand

The view of us on top of the mountain
Seemed so picturesque, so picture
Pretty, the view below us looks
Distant as at last we stand
Without the motivation
Of the climb
Trophy of
A man in a hurry
Yet before we get to
The top, we clung for support
On each other, fearing the hard fall
Man despairs on losing yet victory fades
Upon seeing another mountain, this time on a glider
