At Least A Wind

Poem By Milan Děžinský

Always pursued by night,
gripped by her moist skin,
itching like prolonged virginity,
that the astronomer is closest to a poet,
not for his amazement, nor his plea,
that there exists a shaft or tunnel
between their worlds,
through which light groans,
or at least a cold wind.
