Poem By Raymond Sealey

In this disjointed time
when Gaia trembles
and unseen vapours
trick the air
and great geologies
long frozen
move and crack;

in this disjointed time
when powders flash
and skies illuminate,
when young men
disintegrate before our eyes
and shatter histories
as small and great as each of us;

in this disjointed time
when leaders lie
and followers sleep
we inward turn
and seek our solace here.

But now, my friends,
take cause
beyond these walls
and turn love out and not within
and heal this time disjointed.
