At The Start Of The War In Iraq

Now Idi Amin was Big Daddy
And Saddam Hussein Bagh Daddy
Both Daddies are baddies
But another bad laddie
Is Bad Daddy’s laddie Bush-Daddy! !

I can’t write a Limmie with flair
And when watching TV I just stare
So much shock and awe
This terrible war
Has left my life’s fun-cupboard bare.

The cream of our youth and Bush picked ‘em
Your son or mine – one more victim?
Our hearts sigh in sorrow
For after tomorrow
There’ll still be no change in his dictum.
