Autobiography

The pills
taken to ease the ills
of a troubled mind,
and everything
that it couldn't leave behind.
A father's apathetic absence;
A mother's abusive nonsense;
The one who loved me best
Has already been laid to rest.
Don't forget, the men
who have came and went.
Now, my sanity is spent.
The aborted hopes
and, the others who have interloped.
A future miscarried.
No wonder I'm so harried.
The love who has come back into my life
but, I doubt that I'll ever be his wife.
Yet, another sleepless night
when I ask, 'When will things be right? '

April, This is very good, keep it up. Wishing you all the best, I know exactly where your coming from with this one. I'm in a similar struggle. stan
