Hidden Letter For You

Poem By Aina Jahirah

I went back to our avenue of autumn gold today
to see if you would always be there as you'd said.
Yet found that even there, our most treasured of places,
was quiet, still and empty of one other living soul.
Then, as if the silence punched me with the loss of you,
I knew that everywhere would wear the same dark cloth

Comments about Hidden Letter For You

A lovely sensitive poem, Neil. I am left with a sad autumnal feeling along with a picture of the golden colours of autumn.
well constructed in the venue of free verse, Walt Whitman is as melodious as rhyming 10
Very sad poem. The longing and missing is palpable in this piece. Though I do believe that we can hold our loved ones in our heart. I hope I've not misread this poem, it is lovely. HG: -) xx

From the day we born,
The blood running in our veins,
The air that we inhale,
The birds chirping making music in our ears,

The unpleasent noise surrounds,
The unsatisfied stares,
The selfish ones mumbling under their breath,
Idiots everywhere,

My past days with you,
Brings joy to my heart,
Spending time with you,
Felt like a moment pass,

Happiness is the best prize
Even the devil wants it
But its not easy to get
Dying from failure

I have been cursed by you,
I'm still missing you,
2 years has passed,
Your name was engraved in my heart,

What kind of world,
We are living in right now,
Being kind isn't enough,
