Autumn Adieu

Clouds of grey cover the shy above,
With a little bit of light peeking through
I walk the brick road coated with leaves,
As the autumn wind blows adieu

Everybody so comfy in their warm jackets,
As the monarchs migrate through the air
Beautiful red and yellow trees by my side,
With the smell of dry leaves, oh so rare

A droplet of rain lands on my head,
I shelter myself under my umbrella
The sky cries and sheds its cold tears,
As I rush home for a coffee with vanilla

Beautifully written, it truly describes the feeling of autumn and all that comes with it. An amazing way of putting words toghether to create an entire world of syllables. Beautiful. Hugs, Agnes
