Baby, I'm Ready To Live The Fantasy
Tired of scrounging for pennies
And working for nickels and dimes.
I want to tip in all twenties
And stop living the hard times.
Tired of always window shopping,
And patching up my old clothes.
I want to be stylish and eye-popping,
Better than the models in fashion shows.
Tired of living in dinge and squalor,
On furniture that's falling apart and old.
I want to have a fancy parlor,
in a large estate of marble and gold.
Tired of cleaning and cooking,
After a long, hard day of working.
I don't care who's out there looking,
Let a full household staff do their lurking.
Tired of the same faces and old places,
With no means to go anywhere.
I want to see what life embraces,
And travel here, there, and everywhere.
Hey, even if it leads me into bankruptcy,
Baby, I'm ready to live the fantasy.
